How it works
From an answer to the evidence behind it.
A fixed method, the same for every customer: rules check what can be checked, a person checks every finding, and anything we can't settle is reported as unsettled.
Agree the scope
A short Order names the bot, the answer sample (up to 200 or 500), the sources and the deliverables. Public sources are enough to start; read access to private ones is optional.
Send the answers
An export of recent questions and answers, with the source link each answer used where you have it, through a private upload in your own portal. Never through the public Snapshot form.
Check against the live sources
We extract the checkable claims in each answer (prices, percentages, versions, dates, plan names and links) and compare them with a fresh, logged read of the source. Each read records what we fetched and when.
A person reviews every finding
Every changed, gone or unclear item is opened and checked by hand before it goes in the report. Pages we couldn't read, and claims no rule could settle, are listed as exactly that.
Walk through the report
A one-hour walkthrough with your team, and one round of corrections. Delivered within 10 business days of receiving both the deposit and the agreed inputs.

Stale answer rate
How many of the sampled answers rest on information that has changed, gone, or can't be verified, each counted separately.
Evidence per finding
The question, the answer, the claim at issue, what the live source says today (quoted), and the link.
Source register
Every source the bot relies on, its status (current, changed, gone or unclear), and a “check again on” date for each.
Dead and redirected links
Links inside the bot's answers that fail or land somewhere other than the page they name.

What each status means.
Current The live source states the same value the answer gave.
Changed The live source states a different value. We quote it.
Gone The page no longer exists, or now lands somewhere else.
Unclear We read the page, but it doesn't settle the claim. Never counted as current.
The free Snapshot
How we read your help centre.
We start from the public URL you send and read at most 150 pages, one per second, obeying your robots.txt. If your site refuses our reader, we stop and tell you.
We look for broken links, links that redirect to the home page, retired pages still being linked to, and price or version contradictions where two pages state them plainly. A person checks each one; you get at most 10.
Some help centres build their pages with JavaScript in the browser. Our reader can't see those pages yet, and if yours is one of them we'll say so rather than send you an empty report.
What a Snapshot is not: it reads public pages only, so it can't show what your bot actually said. That is what the audit is for.
Limits, stated plainly
What the result means, and doesn't.
- It covers the agreed sample and sources, at the times we read them.
- It checks claims our rules can extract: prices, percentages, versions, dates, plan names and links. It doesn't judge tone, reasoning or advice.
- It does not certify accuracy or compliance, and it is not legal or regulatory advice.
- It doesn't change your bot or your content. You decide what to fix.
- A page we couldn't read is not evidence that its facts are wrong.
